How It Looks to Me
How It Looks To Me is our support programme tailored specifically for children and young people
It takes place over 6 weeks, for 45 minutes per week.
It's 1-2-1 or in a small group if they prefer.
It can be at one of our family hubs, in school or in another agreed suitable location.
The nominated worker is matched to the child/young person based on the preparation sessions with parents.
The Aims Of The Programme:
- To support children and young people to express their feelings through relationship based activities and play.
- To explore with them ways they can cope with changes in their family.
- To ensure they know it's ok to have mixed emotions.
- For them to feel supported and listened to in a neutral setting.
During the programme children/young people will complete a small book with their allocated worker and we complete a short summary report to inform parents and other professionals when working with the family if appropriate.

Where: At home, in school, in the community, at one of our family hubs.
How Much: Agency or Private Funded -
The total cost for the programme is £350 which includes registration to the service, explorative consultations with the parents, the 6 weekly sessions, all resources and small book and the summary report at the end.
Please note, depending on the location of sessions we might also charge a travel fee, but please speak with the office to confirm. All costs will be agreed before any work begins.
