What is ICFA?
Improving Child and Family Arrangements (ICFA) is the service designed by Cafcass and delivered by organisations across the country to help families agree safe, beneficial, and sustainable spending time with arrangements when they are finding it difficult to do so on their own. South West Family Services undertakes ICFA work on behalf of Cafcass under the lead provider for the Southwest of England Swan Family,
ICFA is a service for families involved in private law proceedings and can be referred by the Family Court Advisor (Cafcass Officer) whilst in court but it is only available when a court makes an order for it. We offer an alternative range of services for parents who need support with co-parenting if you do not quality for the ICFA intervention, so please contact us if you need some advice.
